Reservation Policies

• Recurring meetings can only be scheduled by programs affiliated with the Center or other units in the BSD Dean’s Office.
  
  

• The Center for Health and the Social Sciences (CHeSS) requires that requestors submit notification of any cancellation at least 48 hours in advance of their scheduled meeting to ensure that the conference room is available to all interested in using it. If there are more than two cancellations without notifications in a six month period, the Center may not honor future conference room requests.
  
  

• The Center for Health and the Social Sciences reserves the right to override any request for the conference room should a priority meeting in the Center arise. All efforts will be made to provide early notice and to assist the requestor in locating equivalent space should this situation arise.
  
  

• Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your room reservation, please send an email including the date and time of your original request to chess@bsd.uchicago.edu.
