The Data Management Cluster aids researchers in transforming raw data into a manageable form by extracting data, cleaning it, creating variables, and then constructing a dataset for analysis.
The Center for Health and Social Sciences has staff that specialize in data management to assist University of Chicago faculty and promote research initiatives.
Researchers affliliated with CHeSS have extensive expertise working with publicly available and held dataset. Datasets are available in the following areas: older adults and the elderly; mental health/substance abuse, and children.
