Lecture: Monica Peek

Dr. Peek spoke about health disparities among different racial groups in America. She also used the Gardener's tale to explain how enviornment and social surroundings can effect a person's health outcomes.

About 75 students, staff and local residents turned out for the event. The event was sponsored by the Student National Medical Association-Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students and Office of Multicultural Student Affairs.
