Proposal Writing and Interdisciplinary Collaboration

CHeSS involves faculty from the Biological Sciences, Social Sciences, Business, Law, Public Policy, and Social Services Administration, so our staff can help you identify potential collaborators to help meet the complex needs of interdisciplinary research projects. Contact Kathryn Neckerman, Executive Director (kneckerm@bsd.uchicago.edu) or Angelique Johnson, Pre-award Grants and Contracts Administrator (ajohnso3@bsd.uchicago.edu) for more information.

Research Support

CHeSS coordinates a Methods Core for outcomes and health services research which is dedicated to providing high quality analytical and research assistance. The Methods Core is staffed with several experienced masters and doctoral level collaborators, and affiliates may request assistance in preparation of grant and contract proposals, data collection strategies, accessing large public-use datasets, database development, statistical recommendations on projects, and data analysis and interpretation.
